Sulaym ibn Qays al-Hilālī al-ʿĀmirī was one of the companions of Ali towards the end of the latter’s life. According to these scholars the book contains lots of errors and false info, like the number of Imams being 13 etc. He has no knowledge whatsoever of what he’s talking about. Its like a Shia Hadith book.

It is better for a religious person to keep away from acting on all that is in it. I am very curious about the authencitiy, acceptance, and value of this Kitab to the Shia community.

I’ve got this book at home. The author is also regarded as a trustworthy narrator to some. Remember, Salim himself is considered as a very reliable narrator in Shiism. It is better for a religious person to keep away from acting on what is in it.
