Angelina rated it liked it Jan 19, The h showed fire and spunk but later in the book I’m like huh??? To be honest had this story been first released just recently I would have rated it one star however back in the day things were different so I can see why the story was written the way it was.

So, our heroine Heather is a spoiled brat that is accustomed to getting away with pretty much anything and everything, except with choosing the man she gets to marry. Found this when I was in middle school and have read it so many times it’s falling apart. Thanks for dsert us about the problem. I loved the strength desery our heroine and the extent our hero would go too keeping her love. The ambiguous ending left me dissatisfied, though.

Rhett and Scarlet needed a happily-ever-after. I absolutely love this book I was a sophomore in high school when I read this. Yes, I realize this is a brutal and violent time, and I went with the flow for a while. This was my first “adult” romance novel. Feb 20, Melinda Leonard added it. Believing in happily-ever-afters positively screams romantic-at-heart. After five years of deesert to me, a friend said to stop talking and start writing.
