I guess that is that je ne sais annaa ha that comes from balancing sentiment with the reality of burden, as well as the candid sharp wit of dialogue, both between characters and in their internal conversation. They were just so sweet. I’m not attacking them for that, but it just doesn’t fit the bill in my opinion.

For the record, I do believe many readers are confused by “chick lit” and “women’s literature” or “fiction by women writers”.

Camille decides to take Paulette to Philibert’s apartment and take good care of her. That one is just for me.
