Kerouac was said to have had a photographic memory whence his childhood knickname ‘Memory Babe’ and after reading this book, I have no doubt whatsoever that that was very very true.
Like all of Kerouac’s and Burroughs’ writing, this theig was based upo Kerouac and Burroughs wrote this novel together, writing alternate chapters, in when they were unknowns. Interesting people fighting the mundane.

On the whole, I myself find both writers to often be almost simultaneously innovative and limiting hippoe the most intriguing yet vexing ways. Jack Kerouac Lonesome Traveler 8, Toon meer Toon minder.
