In order for someone to actually autonomously consent to a state that person must be able to do so. Toward a Dialectical Anarchism. So, in some cases, states may not need to do anything to enable someone to secure sufficient autonomy. So, the rest of this review will suppose that anarchists want to deny that we should have minimal states with an in principle monopoly on coercive force while libertarians will disagree.
