I would use 1. The base of Q1 needs 2. That’s the main current that Q1 needs to be able to sink when on. You now say that you want datqsheet support a final load current of mA, and that the gain of Q4 is Email Required, but never shown.

Now you have to go back and update the min required current sink value for Q1, and ripple thru all the downstream calculations from that as shown above. Let’s therefore work backwards requiring Q1 to sink 2. I can’t find a relacement or equivilent. I am assuming that there should be another one on the circuit board.

I’m not a fan of the 5. But datashdet you’re near the edge of what this PNP can do.

That turns off Q2, which then no longer provides base current to keep Q2 on. Please post the readings and I’ll try to help you find a replacement.

Soldered it in and voila, works perfectly. The circuit basically consists of 3 sections: Olin Lathrop I’m trying to make an accurate calculation, but I have little understanding datqsheet how to produce it.
